Vegas Matt Says the Venetian 86’d Him
Vegas Matt says the Venetian banned him a few days after he won about $400,000 on a Phoenix Link slot machine.
The reported reason was advantage play, but he denies having any edge. Legally, casinos can refuse service — but banning a creator with 1.6 million YouTube subscribers is guaranteed to turn into a PR story.
The question: is the casino protecting itself, or picking the wrong fight?
Caesars Unveils the Olympus Loyalty Tier
Caesars is rolling out Olympus, a new invitation-only tier above Seven Stars.
The estimated requirement: about $1.5 million in slot coin-in. Perks include an annual seven-day retreat, with founding members expected to be notified in February.
It is the whale economy in full view — especially at a time when regular tourism feels softer.
Wynn Is Closing Awakening
Wynn is closing Awakening on October 10 after about four years.
The reported economics were rough, with the show said to be losing $150K to $200K per week after costing around $150 million to build.
This also makes three major show closures in a row after Mad Apple and Menopause the Musical. The Strip is clearly moving toward more flexible, star-driven, event-style entertainment.
